Eating Disorder Screening & Referral Guide

Working in the Digestive Health space means many of your clients will live with an eating disorder.  I developed this screening and referral pathway to help support the dietitians I supervise and mentor in gut health.  It has helped them learn when to escalate concerns regarding someone’s medical safety, and is a quick reference tool to refer to, with the appropriate screening tools to use in practice. Currently, the SCOFF and EDS screening questionnaires are not validated in the digestive health population, but currently they are the most recommended for this group.  There are extensive references at the end of this guide for further reading.
